James Cameron is looking to bring “Titanic” back to the big screen in 3D. Converting Titanic won’t be the same as if the film had been shot for 3D, Cameron feels confident that before their targeted release, this conversion will be done right.
According to Cameron, “They’re converting Clash of the Titans in eight weeks. But I’m guessing six months to a year to do it right. We’re targeting spring of 2012 for the release [of a 3D version of Titanic], which is the 100 year anniversary of the sailing of the ship.”

You’ve got to be kidding me! Is this necessary at all? If you are going to make films into the new 3D take ones that were made to be 3D like the original Creature from the Black Lagoon – Heck, I’ll go see Jaws 3D again if they did this but not Titanic. Although, seeing Kate Winslet naked in 3D could be fun
